Error:

During SSH connection request to Ubuntu (Linux) VM, the following error message was displayed:

kex_exchange_identification: read: Connection aborted

banner exchange: Connection to 127.0.0.1 port 2222: Connection aborted

Solution:

Install ssh-server in the VM:

apt install openssh-server
